Hi! My name is...

Max

Meet Max! At just 1.5 years old, Max is already a BIG guy with an even bigger heart! This lovable boy has so much love to give and absolutely adores people. He can be a little exuberant when he’s excited, and because of his size, his enthusiasm may be a bit much for smaller children, but he is happiest when he’s getting to spend time with his people. Max is also a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs! He loves playing with his canine friends and would be thrilled to find a forever home with another dog who enjoys having a big, goofy playmate around. He’s accustomed to walking nicely on a leash, so he could do just fine in a home without a fenced yard. That said, if you have a fenced-in yard, Max would absolutely LOVE having a safe space where he can run, play, and burn off some of that young-dog energy! And can we talk about those ears?! Max has some of the softest ears around and would happily let you spend your day giving them scratches. Max does have some special dietary needs due to a genetic disorder, but don’t let that scare you away! With his prescription diet and a Denamarin supplement, Max is thriving and doing wonderfully. He’s proof that a little extra care can go a long way when you’re getting this much love in return. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, dog-loving, people-loving young guy who is ready to be your best friend, Max might just be your guy!
