Adoption Guidelines

Please only apply if you are willing to make a commitment for the rest of the animal’s life.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old to adopt from Second Chance.
Incomplete applications will not be processed.
You will receive an email confirming the receipt of your application and will hear from us by phone or email within 5 business days. If a dog has multiple applicants, you will have 24 hours to reply before we move to the next applicant.

On “Gotcha Day”, the pet must be picked up by its adopter from the Second Chance Adoption Center or foster, as arranged by us.
Adoption fee due on “Gotcha Day” (cash, check, or credit card).
