Hi! My name is...

Cashew

Cashew is a curious, outgoing puppy who loves snuggles and nap time just as much as zoomies and big adventures! He’s busy learning all about the world, and right now, everything is his favorite—which makes him an absolute delight to be around. Potty and crate training are already underway, and he’s making things easy for his foster. As he settles in, he’ll continue learning new commands, but he’s already proving to be a smart, intuitive little guy. Cashew is a social butterfly who has gotten along wonderfully with all the adults, children, and dogs he’s met, both big and small. He seems unbothered by cats and other small animals he encounters on walks or in the backyard, so he may do well with them, too! His favorite toys are his stuffies, which he loves to stalk and pounce on with all the enthusiasm of a tiny hunter. He also absolutely idolizes his foster’s older dog and loves following his people around the house like a little shadow. Did we mention he’s ADORABLE? With his sweet personality, playful spirit, and love for everyone around him, Cashew is shaping up to be the best boy. Now he’s ready to find his forever family and meet his new best friend(s)! Cashew is available as part of our Foster to Adopt Program - what this means is that his adoptive family (once approved through the adoption process), will act as his foster family until he is of age to be neutered and his puppy vaccinations are completed. Foster to Adopt families MUST be located within 1 hour driving distance of our location. This is because puppies will have several clinic visits for vaccination updates and our veterinary partners are all in the Raleigh, NC area.
