Kaitlyn first got involved with Second Chance as a volunteer and foster in 2024 before joining the board in 2026. She worked in the veterinary industry for 6 years, but her passion and love of animals has been lifelong. Kaitlyn and her husband live in Cary with their 4 rescues - 1 dog and 3 cats, including one cat from Second Chance! She currently works at an accounting firm as the Senior Campus Recruiter. Kaitlyn received her Master of Education at NC State, and Bachelors in Business Admin at UNCG.
