August 26 is National Dog Day, so come on out and celebrate your four-legged best friend while helping Second Chance Pet Adoptions raise money for homeless animals!
Join us from 3:00 to 5:00 at Bombshell Beer Company (North Carolina’s only 100% female-owned brewery!) in Holly Springs. Bring your friends and enjoy great brews for a great cause; grab lunch, dinner, and dessert from the BBQ Proper truck (5% of the proceeds are donated to our animals); and visit with some of our adoptable animals!
SPECIAL TREAT: At 4:00, Bombshell is offering a tour with samples from the tanks so you can learn not just how beer is made, but also taste it throughout the fermentation process! At just $5 per person, this will be an excellent experience! Second Chance will have dog-loving volunteers on-hand to pupsit while you tour, but hurry and sign up at the event, as all but TWO spots have been sold in advance and we will only be able to sell two spots on-site! At the end of the tour, we’ll randomly select one winner each of a Second Chance bottle opener (made by Glover Corporation), Second Chance 30th anniversary t-shirt, and Second Chance 30th anniversary coffee mug, so get there early and sign up before it’s too late!

We’ve got great prizes for you, and best of all, YOU get to choose how to allocate your tickets! Anyone–present or not–can win the Bombshell Bundle, Pawty Night Package, Bow Wow Basket, or Second Chance Swag! At the event, cash, checks, and cards will all be accepted. Winners will be drawn at 4:50 p.m. If winner is not present, winner will receive a phone call and/or e-mail on Monday, August 28. Prizes not claimed within 30 days will be considered to be donated back to Second Chance Pet Adoptions.
