If an adopter pays both an adoption fee and an additional donation, submit two forms: one for the adoption fee (fee only) and one for the additional donation. This ensures donors receive a thank-you letter and tax receipt while keeping our records accurate, as we are unable to “split” transactions after they have been processed.
