Holly Springs Downtown Dog Walk

12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Join us March 24 at Black Dog Bottle Shop for a Downtown Dog Walk (a guided doggy parade of sorts through downtown Holly Springs). We’re setting up shop by 11:30 a.m., so meet us there no later than 12:00 noon to get registered (suggested donation for homeless animals: $10) and we’ll take off at 12:15 for our stroll.
When we return to Black Dog Bottle Shop (the FIRST bottle shop in Holly Springs!), indulge in some lunch from the Hot Chix chicken and hotcakes food truck. (Not coming on the dog walk? No worries, we’ll meet ya back at the bottle shop and the food truck begins serving at 1:00.)
And of course, enjoy a beverage or two or three in the bottle shop–they’ve got beer on tap, bottled and canned beer to bring home, and wine at the bar. There are even board games on-hand to enjoy with your two-legged friends! With two (black) dogs of their own, the owners of this independent bottle shop are super passionate about animal rescue—ALL of their membership fees are donated to those working hard to save stray and abandoned animals from homelessness and euthanasia! As you sip on a great brew, make sure to browse their adoption wall to check out the photos of pups at Wake County Animal Center who are waiting for their second chance.
You won’t just find photos of adoptable animals at the bottle shop–some of our very own adoptable dogs will be there in hopes that you’ll give them some love (for the day or for a lifetime)!
