Ready to kick off that Holiday Spirit? Lafayette Village is!
On Saturday, November, 19, 2016, during the spectacular Tree Lighting ceremony in North Raleigh’s Lafayette Village, there’s sure to be something for everyone during this event that runs from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Good old St. Nick will light the Tree in the Courtyard at the stroke of 7:00 pm!
Check out the agenda for the evening, and be sure to add a stop at Watkins Flowers of Distinction (8490 Honeycutt Rd., #108, or D1 on the map below)! Their back window features a pet motif and is in the window display competition! Why pets? Because their window display benefits the animals of Second Chance Pet Adoptions AND we’ll have some adoptable kitties on site! To vote for their window, drop one dollar in the ballot box; the store’s window with the most votes at the end of competition wins the “It’s a Wonderful Window” Trophy for them to display throughout the next year. More importantly, Second Chance will keep 100% of all the money placed in the Watkins ballot box! Don’t forget to vote each week, as each week one lucky voter will be drawn to win a $50 gift card to their favorite village shop!
