On May 5, 2019, we return to Dorothea Dix Park for our annual Racing for Rescues event! Participate in one of two timed 5K runs (one with dogs, one without) or our casual fun walk (dogs welcome)! Explore the vendor village, snack on goodies from the food truck, and meet the adoptable dogs of Second Chance Pet Adoptions! It’s a great time for a great cause, supporting the rescue of approximately 150 stray and abandoned animals per year.
