Happy Caturday! We received a very important message this morning from someone who wanted us to share it with you! Here goes: “Second Chance fans! My name is Lincoln and I’m 2 years old. I can’t tell you much about my past, but when Second Chance rescued me from a high-kill shelter, I had an injured leg. I tried my best to get around but always held it up because it hurt me! Once the doctors checked me out, they found out that I had been shot! There was too much damage to save my leg, so here I am as a tripod! I have a wonderful attitude and nature, especially given that someone was mean to me and I’m temporarily semi-bald. I crave attention and if you are looking for someone to talk to, then I am your man! All the Second Chance volunteers looooove me and that’s awesome, but I’m hoping to meet my forever family! I will be at Petco this weekend for their Love Changes Everything adoption event (today and tomorrow 11-1). Will you come and meet me??” (P.S. – Lincoln is oblivious to this, but our Cat Adoptathon at Second Chance today from noon to 4pm is still happening, too!)
