Here is an update on Divica and Philip. However, at this point, my
14-year-old cat Cayenne would like to state for the record that she would
have made a good Only Cat.
Divica is a great addition to the household as a companion to Philip. She
seems quite enchanted with him; in fact it looks like she has a crush on
him, following him around, rubbing up against him or waving her big bushy
tail in his face. She initiates about 90% of the play (whether Philip plays
or not) and is always ready to lick his head thoroughly, with a bite now and
then to keep him on his toes. She helps him with his job, which is Chief
Bughunter.
Philip is quite the mama's boy and always greets me when I come home,
begging for cuddling and fussing over. Divica likes my attention, too, but
since her attention span is so short, it's always over in a minute.
I couldn't get a picture of them playing because if I move, it seems to
break up the mood, but just before I got ready to send this, I got a picture
of the two of them together.
