In July 2006 I was volunteering with Second Chance and went to pick up a foster to take her to a special needs adoption event. Unfortunately, the adoption event was not successful and ended early. Her foster parents were actually helping with the auction event that year and would not be home until later so I decided to make a “pit stop” by my house. My husband and I both fell in love with her and she fit right into our family
Her name is Sen. She was found by her foster parents roaming the streets of Cary and was subsequently diagnosed with cancer in her mammary glands. She underwent treatment at Petsound Animal Hospital and received a clean bill of health.
Sen has been with our family for about 2 years now and she is healthy, happy and so appreciative of the love she receives from us. I can honestly say that she is the best dog ever and we couldn’t imagine not having her in our life.
