Description: Hi, My name is Ace! I am a friendly, playful, curious young dog. I am house trained, walk great on a leash and surprisingly don’t shed much and my beautiful black fur is soft and almost waterproof. I like to swim in my foster family’s pool and they say I don’t smell like wet dog at all afterwards and my fur dries fast. I still like to chew so I eat a lot of rawhide chew toys and like to play with stuffed animals. I like to roughhouse with my teenage foster brothers and I like to play with other nice dogs at the dog park and take long walks around Lake Lynn. I’m a little anxious around little kids since I haven’t had much experience with them but probably would get used to them quickly. I would do great in a house with other friendly dogs, cats, kids that are a little older such as in middle school and I love guys. I like to follow my foster Mom around the house while she is doing chores and try to help. I’m getting good at taking laundry out of the dryer and carrying the garden hose around the backyard while she is watering her flowers. I am very smart and can learn new tricks fast. An obedience training class would be great for me so I can learn better social manners especially when the doorbell rings or at vet appointments. I don’t like to be restrained against my will such as getting shots at the vet. The doorbell excites and scares me so I’m learning to sit and stay while my humans open the door to visitors. I’m just so excited to see the visitor, that sometimes it may be scary at first for the visitor but they say I’m getting better with that but I calm down fast once the visitor is inside. So I would love to meet you and show you how great I am.
